The full package is available for purchase in our A.P.P.L.E. store in digital format complete with Apple II emulator ready 5.25 inch floppy disk image, full color disk label image for those who want to create a physical disk as well as the game manual for Star Fury in PDF format.

  • The objective is simple:survive as long as possible while managing your ship’s energy levels.Engage in interstellar combat as enemies relentlessly target your ship, depleting its energy withevery hit.Your goal is to outmaneuver your adversaries and emerge victorious. Make sure to pick up the fuel tablets along the way so you don’t run out!
  • Eight Distinct Stages: once you have surpassed each of the eight stages, you move on to the next level with eight more stages. Higher levels have faster aliens– try to survive!

Author

Raphael Oliveira de Rezende – a programmer who recently began programming the Apple II in assembly language. Space Intruder is a full-fledged Apple II arcade-style games. Having authored a number of games for the Apple II in BASIC over the past several years as part of the Facebook “Apple II Software Enthusiasts Group” challenges, this is the first game he produced that is purely in assembly language and harkens back to games of the 1980s. Raphael is Brazilian, a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church, and works as a state public servant and a software developer (Delphi/RAD Studio) for retail companies. An Apple II computer lover, he bought his first Apple II in 1985. Now, a childhood dream is coming true, which is to program using assembly language – especially for game development. He has two Apple II computers, a IIe and IIc.

Bill Martens Apple historian and enthusiast, programmer, President of Apple Pugetsound Program Library Exchange (A.P.P.L.E.) and co-producer ofCall-A.P.P.L.E.magazine, and books like: Cyber Jack, Synergistic Software: The Early Games, Nibble Viewpoints, The WOZPAK Special Edition, and What’s Where in the Apple: Enhanced Edition. Bill also co-produced and co-programmed the retro iOS game Structris. Bill is the author of ApPilot/W1, Beyond Quest, The Anatomy of an EAMON, and multiple EAMon adventure games. He is a systems engineer specializing in office infrastructures and has been programming since 1976. And he is the production editor for the A.P.P.L.E. website CallAPPLE.org, writes science fiction novels in his spare time, and is a retired semi-pro football player.

Apple Pugetsound Program Library Exchange (A.P.P.L.E.) has been a global Apple user group since 1978, with membership peaking near 50,000 in 1985. Offering many services, A.P.P.L.E. is also a book publisher and game developer, and has produced dozens of new book titles since 2013 and over 100 Apple software titles.
