But on May 12, 2022, Matt Roloff introduced that the family farm house and its assets has been put up for sale.
The Roloff farm house is for sale for $Four million.
Matt wrote in an Instagram post that deciding to sell the property was once a "scary" prospect, but it is a step he's willing to take. "All of @rolofffarms has brought me and our family great joy for the past 30+ years! Today 16 acres of the farm’s 109 acres go up for sale including our original family home and bright red barn."

He endured, "It’s a tiny bit scary but mostly exciting. … It’s time to move toward the next season of life."
The actual question is whether or not $4 million is worthwhile for a rural assets and house in Hillsboro, Ore. According to Realtor.com, the median home listing worth for a house in the space is $543,500.
And what do you precisely get for all of that money? Well, the very first thing, as Matt already discussed is land. Sixteen acres is pretty darn just right, meaning you've got greater than enough room to roam around and actually have a mini-farm of your individual on the premises. Like riding ATVs? Dirt motorcycles? Want a couple horses? There's a lot of room for all of that.

So what's the reason why at the back of promoting the farm? Well, it may well be that once filming 23 seasons of the show, the Roloff circle of relatives has managed to safe enough funds for themselves that they do not feel the wish to ever work once more. Maybe they need to pursue different interests and passions.

Apparently, there may be some rigidity between Zach and Matt heading into the display's twenty third season. Are there in reality problems in the Roloff clan? Only time will inform.

The $4 million plot of land stayed on the market for five months before Matt had a change of heart. The farm was quietly relisted in August 2023, as the price was dropped from $4 million to $3,395,000. Again, after five months on the market, the listing was removed in December 2023.
Matt put the portion of the farm on the market for $4 million and Zach offered $1.6 million. That difference was too much for the father to accept, even with a family discount.
However, Zach stepped down from his role after his rift with his father over buying Roloff Farms in season 22. His wife contributes to their income as a photographer, star on LPBW and social media influencer. The couple also launched a podcast called "Raising Heights" in February 2024.
Tori and Zach bought their Battle Ground home for under $1 million, which some Little People, Big World fans consider too expensive. Several Redditors were surprised that Zach and Tori purchased their new $944,000 home despite not selling their first house in Oregon.
Matt revealed that Amy Roloff will inherit the property after he dies, rather than one of their kids or Caryn Chandler. Despite fan pressure for one of his kids to take over, Matt clarified who's in charge, but the farm drama continues.
What does Zach Roloff do for a living? As it turns out, although Zach reportedly went to Portland Community College to earn his Associate's Degree, his primary job is being a television personality — aka filming for their super popular TLC series.
It is now available to rent via Airbnb for $651 a night. Listed as the "World Renowned Roloff Farms," the Airbnb rental page details the six bedroom, five-and-a-half bath house that can accommodate more than 16 guests.
Matt is the sole owner of Roloff Farms, though two of his sons, Zach and Jeremy Roloff, hoped to purchase some of Amy Roloff's former half of the property. It's confirmed that Zach and Amy's youngest son, Jacob Roloff, live on Roloff Farms full-time. Here's what his wife, Isabel Roloff, said.
The farm had been the family's home and source of livelihood ever since Matt acquired it in 1990, and as the firstborn, Zach had always believed he was raised to one day take over or assist in the farming operations.

Tori and Zach likely made roughly $7,000 per episode of the hit TLC show, according to multiple reports, and they have continued to use their platform to share what their lives are like living with achondroplasia.
